Christmas Memories

It's always fun to share memories and what an awesome time of year to share!  Christmas has always been my favorite time of year.  I grew up in the Southern Colorado where the seasons were very evident.  The beautiful fall let us know that Christmas was just around the corner. Christmas as a child was filled with all kinds of fun activities. Trips up to the top of the Rocky Mountains to hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.  We would bundle up with layers and trample through snow up to my neck, dad and grandpa would cut the tree with a chainsaw and load it up for the trip home. Grandma's Christmas tree was a huge tumble weed!  She would spray it with fake snow and decorate it with the most amazing ornaments from her life.  It was so beautiful and delicate. Next was the days leading up to Christmas filled with cooking and baking.  All my aunts and cousins would gather to make homemade pies, cookies, fudge, candy, and all kinds of traditional tri...
