Delightful Designs Digital Scrapbooking

Hello everyone, this is a quick tutorial on layering and using my borders in the My Memories Software .  Creating quick gorgeous layouts can be easy with this awesome software. For this tutorial I used my  Holiday Happenings Bundle Pack 1. Step one is pretty simple, Add a background 2.  Your next paper will be added as an embellishment.  Once it is added double click on it and a window will pop up called "Embellishment Settings"  Select Units: Inches.  Make sure the "Keep Proportions" box is checked.  In the width box type in 11.5, it will auto full the Height, close the box. You will notice you paper has been resized. 3. Next in the top menu click on "Arrange", "Align", then Center Vertically on Page. Repeat and selcect "Center Horizontally on Page".  Your paper should be perfectly centered now. Add a shadow to give it some depth. 4.  Repeat step 4 with your third paper.  You should now have a nice background for y...

It's always fun to share memories and what an awesome time of year to share!  Christmas has always been my favorite time of year.  I grew up in the Southern Colorado where the seasons were very evident.  The beautiful fall let us know that Christmas was just around the corner. Christmas as a child was filled with all kinds of fun activities. Trips up to the top of the Rocky Mountains to hunt for the perfect Christmas tree.  We would bundle up with layers and trample through snow up to my neck, dad and grandpa would cut the tree with a chainsaw and load it up for the trip home. Grandma's Christmas tree was a huge tumble weed!  She would spray it with fake snow and decorate it with the most amazing ornaments from her life.  It was so beautiful and delicate. Next was the days leading up to Christmas filled with cooking and baking.  All my aunts and cousins would gather to make homemade pies, cookies, fudge, candy, and all kinds of traditional tri...

"Fabulous Fall Owls"  My scrapbooking represents a lifetime of caring for and being around kids.  From being the oldest sibling to being a grandmother.  I was a stay at home mom, the one who's house was always full of kids.  At church I was the Director of Children's ministries and the children's choir director.  When my kids both started school I went back to school and became an elementary school teacher.  My students were always asking me to draw something or show them how to draw something, my classrooms were always filled with color and art.  Then I became a grandma, it is awesome being a grandma!  Later I went away to learn to be an animator, and guess what at school I seemed to collect big kids.  Even now we always seem to have those big kids hanging out.
